My research on rhetoric, writing, new media, and software studies has been published in journals such as College Composition and Communication and Leisure Studies and in the book collections The Responsibilities of Rhetoric and The Computer Culture Reader. My current book project is entitled "Hospitable Code" and examines the ethical and rhetorical assumptions built into software.
